What a spectacular day it was!!
Ages ago I took some bee keeping classes but never had the opportunity to follow through until now.
If you’re thinking about getting a flow hive contact Barnaby @santa_barbara_hives
I had fun (frustration, time & sweat too), putting the hive boxes together- the instructions were pretty easy to follow (pdf & video).
@flowhive was invented by a father & son team in Australia🇦🇺 making it MUCH easier for people to keep bees, help bees, learn & eventually collect delicious honey 🍯 🐝
If you’re not up for building the boxes Barnaby & his great team will have it built for you.
It was great to welcome the Queen 👑 & her nucleus to my yard.
I’m really excited to bring more life to our canyon. They’re settling in well🐝
